Have a look at here: [link]
=======
I used paper-board(2~3mm), golden clothes, glue, and metal parts(which are most used on the door and locks...)

First, try to draw the armor carefully. You must think about every part. Maybe you can use newspaper to make some model and fix them to your body. Just have a try.

Second, just like making normal clothes, depending on your newspaper-model, you can cut paper-board and fold them. Use glue to paste small parts together. Then have a try.

Third, if those small parts fixed you, you can paste golden or sliver clothes on them. You should also paste clothes inside those parts, for maybe you can see those parts in the photos.

Forth, use the metal parts to conect those part. Be sure that you can move your arm and leg under the armor.

Hope you like it.

oh, thanks, that's cool - you guys must have worked hard on these... but I don't know if I understood - the armor itself is made of paper-board, is that right?

I am NOT any of them but based on my Observations on what Chinese/HK/Taiwanese/Japanese SS Cosplayers like to use, I guess they either use Foil Jersey or Pleater to cover the Paperboard/Cardboard.

If you can create the shape, I'll not say any useless thing~

For making our CLOTH shiny, we bought some golden cloth(maybe you can find it in cloth wholesale market) and pasted them to the armor. In other way, maybe you can try golden not-dry-glue label(Sorry I don't know the word in English).

I'm sorry that I have left here a long time. Excuse me for my poor English.
---
We carefully chose the glue we used. Finally we chose a type of glue that often be used in decorating. You must make sure that the glue will not corrode the foam you used.

To connect the armor parts, we used a type of metal hitch(You may find some more explanation in my gallery.) and screw.

As I told yoy before - I know this cosplay from the Internet display and I love every ounce of it. It's so detailed and believable - you even did a proper make up for them. You all look so lovley I wouldn't mind actually asking for an autograph every one of youXD Perfect wigs, per4fect cloths, perfect stances - perfect picture.
